6 illustrations inspired by the book «21 Years in Hell: Manson by Perou», a work of Art by Marilyn Manson and photographer Perou. In collaboration with MarilynManson.Fr, they are featured with our exclusive interview with the photographer.
First, I was supposed to create only one artwork: the one with the book. But of course, another idea popped up. I wanted to offer a variety of my main illustration. Each portrait of Manson in the book would have its own artwork. And each artwork its own animated version. So that implied a certain amount of work for me, and I had a deadline. I’m very proud of what I’ve achieved. It made me more confident in what I am able to do, and it was my first time collaborating with a team for illustrations.
I then did a print swap with Perou. I sent him prints of this project and I received an amazing 1 of 1 portrait of Marilyn Manson from 1999, Mechanical Animals era. Pretty awesome! A real treasure to me.
I also created 2 GIF stickers from this series.
